Annie & Ray

July 22, 2006

Well of all my luck of missing all the rain it didn't happen this time. Of course the one day I didn't want to rain it poured on and off. Back in July I did Annie and Ray's engagement on the farm in Wallingford. On this July 22 I returned for the wedding. Despite all the rain Annie was in good spirits. The rain held off for about any hour and she decided to do the ceremony in the field despite the wet grass. After we continued photos outside even in the drizzle. Whatever it takes to get those pictures! Despite all the weather problems everyone had a good time at a good old backyard, white tent wedding!

Eric & Gabe

Another great session! My friend Candace, her sister just had a son 8 weeks ago. She also has a 2 year old son and a 5 year old stepdaughter. So they all came in for some more fun! Gabe, the baby, was so easy! So was the girl, she was always wanting more photos taken of her. Typical of a 5 year old. As for Eric he just wanted to run around and play. So what we got were a few good shots.

Kaytlin & Nolan

My best friend Julie came in with her daughter which is 1 1/2 and her 8 week old son. Talk about having your hands full. Regardless of all the craziness we ended up with some awesome photos of the kids. Getting them together is almost impossible seeming Kaytlin really does not understand much. We did have a blast as always!

Kelly & Jason

June 30, 2006

This wedding was such a great time I could not believe it when it ended. Kelly & Jason has their reception at Harkness Memorial Park inside the Eolia Mansion. I always get excited to go to this location cause there are endless possibilities for photographs. You have the ocean, grass, the beach and all different structures to use. This wedding party was definitely having a good time. As you can see below the girls decided to make a pyramid. Why Not! The day went by so fast but yet so much fun. These photos especially came out great due to the fact of a great location and the couple of course! Below are some of my favorites from the day.

Holly & Rob

June 23, 2006

What an adorable couple! Holly has so much spunk to her she wore red heels! I loved her personal touch it was a first I have seen this year. I also got to return to one of my favorite spots Lake of Isles at Foxwoods Casino. The staff is so accommodating and the food just melts in your mouth! I also like the fact that the staff drives you on a golf cart to a bridge to take pictures and you have the lake view and grass and privacy away from the guests to do your creatives. The bride also had a wild streak in her at the reception and decided to get on the table and dance. Fun! Thanks Holly & Rob for making the night exciting and keeping me on my toes!

Cara & Mike

June 10, 2006

Another perfect day! I have to say that this year with all the rain we've been having I have lucked out. Not a single wedding for me has it rained. Just when you think it is going to pour the sun shines! Cara & Mike's wedding ceremony was at the Ethel Walker Chapel in Simsbury and then the reception was at the Colonade in Glastonbury. In between we went to the flower bridge and also a bridge spot that Cara had found I believe in Avon. Above and below are some photos from their day.

Melissa & Jay

June 09, 2006 at Mahan's in Wolcott is where Melissa and Jay had there wedding. What made this really special is the old time car was Jay's relatives and we got to do all sorts of fun photos with it. The day went great and luckily the rain held out. If you are living in CT you know that all there has been is rain. So I felt so lucky that it held off! I will be back at Mahan's a couple more times this year and looking forward to it.

AnnMarie & Ray

The photo above is from an engagement session last week. Annie & Ray decided to take me to the reception spot on Ray's family farm in Wallingford. We had such a blast! I found out that Annie has done modeling in the past and what a pleasure to photograph her. She knew exactly how to look, dress and have fun! Their wedding is coming up fast on July 22nd and I am so looking forward to it. Not only is it a great location for photographs but the two of have such a personality!

Kim & John
Newington, CT

I love Friday weddings! Have I ever told any of you that?? Why you may ask .........cause I still have Saturday and Sunday for me!!!!! Which is not very often now a days with wedding season here and all.

Well last Friday was Kim and John's wedding at the Indian Hill Country Club in Newington. I was really pleased cause we were able to go on the 1st tee for pictures. This is NEVER allowed unless you have pull. Which apparently the bride did! Yippee!! The day was perfect not a cloud n the sky and quite warm about 65. Everything went very smooth. Below are a few picture of their day.

I love this picture of the bride! She just happened to move her flowers that certain way and click!

As you can tell she was excited to get married!

Sarah & Kevin

Details, details, details!

This bride was so easy and awesome to work with I can't even explain! Both the bride and groom so nice! Check out this photo taken with available light. Gosh does she shine!

This wedding was extra special for I got to work with my favorite side kick Jordan. Jordan and I have been working together for over 5 years now. We started out as co-workers at a photography studio and quickly became friends. Not only did our love for photography shine together but we were at one time business partners! Of course like most... all good things come to an end some time. Jordan left to work for "O" magazine as assistant photo editor. I was sad but happy for her. But I was just informed this past weekend she is off to bigger and better things! Jordan is now sr. photo editor at instyle magazine! Congrats Jordie!

See Jordie above helping out the bride on this rainy day!

Kristie & Nathan

Well wedding season is finally here! After the long awaited winter it's back. Kristie & Nate was my third wedding of the year. It got me back into the swing of things to prepare me for the long wedding season ahead.

I couldn't of asked for a better day! The sun was shining after all the rain we had and lots of time before the ceremony to do pictures. Relaxing, not time limit for once!
